It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Abigail Webb Roy, age 46, on October 4, 2025, as a result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Abby was a spirited individual who left a mark on all who knew her.

Abby was the cherished daughter of Diana and the late Norman Webb, and the mother to her beloved daughter Ashley.  Abby's greatest joy and pride in life was raising Ashley. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and Ashley's accomplishments and well-being were always Abby's top priority.

Abby attended schools in Claremont and graduated from Stevens High School.  She continued her education, graduating from River Valley College with two associate degrees in the medical field.  Abby was also a student of Jenkins Dance & Gymnastics Center for fourteen years and shared her skills and passion for dance assisting in instructing others.

Throughout her years, Abby held a number of different jobs, each contributing to her broad skill set and tenacious spirit. However, it was her role as a nurse that brought her the greatest sense of fulfillment and purpose. Known for her compassion and dedication, she touched countless lives through her work in the healthcare field, always providing comfort and care to those in need.

A true Claremont native, Abby had a deep-seated passion for the local Claremont Speedway and was an avid football fan. She was known for her strong-minded and spirited nature, qualities that shone through whether she was cheering for her favorite team or offering support and encouragement to her friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Ashley, her mother Diana Webb, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and colleagues who were blessed to know her.

Abby was predeceased by her father, her infant sister Jennifer Jo, her maternal grandparents Josephine & Milton Jewell, and her paternal grandparents Charlotte and John Webb.

Abigail's life, though tragically cut short, was one filled with love, determination, and spirit. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Sunday October 12th from 1 to 3 PM with a memorial service at 3PM. A reception will follow at the Claremont Country Club.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital,  262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 an organization close to Abby's heart.
