Barbara Ann Martin, 69, of Claremont, N.H., died 2 February 2024 while under hospice care at her home in Claremont. She was born in Chicago, IL, on June 24, 1954, the daughter of Richard H. and Dolores M. Sweetsir. She had resided in Claremont for 31 years. Barbara enjoyed collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia, garden Gnomes, caring for her dog Ebony, being the Band Mom to her son Rob's band and being amongst her family. She was the widow of Armand Martin who died in June 2011. Barbara is survived by her son Robert Sweetsir, sister Margaret Mazzola of Townsend, MA., brothers Allen and his wife Ruta of Mesa, AZ and Timothy and his wife Debra of Ashland, NH., and her dear friend and caregiver Shirley Sprague of Westminster, VT. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1st at 11:00 AM  at St Mary's Cemetery.
