Beverly Jean Gates Gibson passed away January 19, 2023, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Beverly was born on November 5, 1931, the daughter of Stanley (Ted) and Ada (Mayard) Gates. She graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont, New Hampshire in 1949 and was a lifelong member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Beverly married Joseph Ulen Gibson November 5, 1955 residing in Charlestown, New Hampshire, for most of their marriage.

Beverly was well known as a salesperson for Bee-Line Fashions. She and Joe were active in the Charlestown Congregational Church and formed the singing group called the "Silvertones" at the Charlestown Senior Center.

Beverly was a devout and devoted Christian. Her faith in God and her faith in humanity were of utmost importance to her, blessing it with anyone and everyone who knew her.

Beverly enjoyed thrift shopping, camping, cookouts, and family gatherings. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, birdwatching, and gardening. Beverly was also an avid watcher of "The Price is Right".  Above all, her favorite activity was spending time with family and friends enjoying many trips to Florida and New York to visit the rest of the Gibson family. When she wasn't visiting family and friends, she was busy writing letters to them. She spent a lot of time with her son Mark in recent years, creating an everlasting bond, becoming more than mother and son, they were best friends.

Beverly is survived by and missed by her two sons, Gary Gibson, Charlestown, New Hampshire and Mark Gibson, Claremont, New Hampshire. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Joseph U. Gibson, her daughter Joy Deihim-Panah, her brothers Arthur (Sonny), Charles, and Richard Gates, and her sister, Shirley Gates.

What people loved most about Beverly was her sweet, loving, and forgiving personality. She will be greatly missed by all and forgotten by none.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on January 28, 2023 at The Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont, NH, with a memorial service following after at 1pm.
