Bonnie L. (Summarsell) LaPlante, 62, of Claremont, NH, passed away with family at her side on August 21, 2022, after a battle with cancer. She was born on December 15, 1959 to Percy and Janet Summarsell in Windsor, VT.

She graduated from Windsor High School in 1977. She married the love of her life on March 11, 1978 and became Mrs. Joseph LaPlante.

They had two sons, Jason and Jeremy.

She was a homemaker and a subcontractor for Whelen Engineering.

She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph LaPlante of Claremont, NH; her brother Bruce Summarsell (Theresa) of Hartford, VT, and their three children; her son Jason A. LaPlante, Sr (Tricia-Lynn) of Andover, NH and their children, Jason A. LaPlante, Jr, Lauren A. LaPlante (and their mother, Alica LaPlante), and Deagan R. Poland; and her son Jeremy T. LaPlante of Concord, NH, daughter-in-spirit Kate A. LaPlante of Claremont, NH, and children Emily Root, Joshua LaPlante, Sarah LaPlante, and Elle LaPlante; great-granddaughter, Daisy-Mae O'Clair.

Bonnie was a beacon of light in so many people's lives.

Her services will be held at Mountainview Cemetery on August 27th at 11 am.
