Brad Martell (Papa), 65, of Charlestown, NH, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with declining health.

Brad was born on September 2, 1960, in Claremont, NH, to Alfred and Paula (Perry) Martell. He graduated from Stevens High School in 1980. In 1983, he married the love of his life, Gloria (Granger), and together they raised two children. Brad was a devoted family man, passionate outdoorsman, and true New England sports fan.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, proudly ending his hunting career with one final buck in 2022. Brad was also a die-hard racing enthusiast—whether it was NASCAR, karting, dirt tracks, or local town races, he never missed a chance to cheer from the sidelines. He especially loved watching his son and grandsons race.

Known for his big heart and even bigger personality, Brad made friends everywhere he went. He was a social butterfly who adopted countless sons, daughters, and grandchildren along the way. His "village" meant everything to him, and he meant just as much to them. Brad will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, Papa, and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Christy Martell; her children Andrew (Sarah) Martell and Madison (Sam) Martell; his late son's children Kenzie, Logan, and Ryder Martell, along with their mother Keri; and great-grandchildren Elizah and Grayson. He is also survived by his sisters Giselle Martell (Kevin) and Alesia Silver (Mike); brothers Eric Martell and Joel Martell (Penny); brother-in-law Michael Granger (Mitzie); and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Brad was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Gloria Martell; his son, Nathan Martell; his parents Alfred and Paula (Perry) Martell; brother Todd Martell; brother-in-law John Granger; and parents-in-law Andrew and Helen Granger.

Calling hours will be held on October 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Charlestown Memorial Chapel in Charlestown, NH. A graveside burial service for Brad, Gloria, and Nathan will follow.

A Celebration of Life will be open to all at the Claremont Legion beginning at 4:00 PM on October 25, 2025.

Brad's legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in all who knew and cherished him.
