Brian T. Richardson, 77, of Newport, NH, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Claremont, NH on August 1, 1945 and was a lifelong Newport, NH resident.

Surviving family includes his beloved wife of 58 years, Sandra Safford Richardson, his two sons Brent Richardson and his wife Pamela, Bradley Richardson and his wife Debbie, and John Ouellette, whom he thought of as a son, and his wife, Robin. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Richardson and his wife Cheryl.

His grandchildren Scott Drew, Benjamin Richardson, Jennifer Richardson, Jeremy Richardson, Alexandra Richardson, Mitchell Stone, Jessica Stone, Brian Johnson and Brenden Richardson. His five great grandchildren and his best friend G.P. Hawkins.

Brian was the superintendent for the Town of Newport cemetery department for more than 20 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

After his retirement, Brian enjoyed woodworking then he found his real passion doing beekeeping. He loved his bees and made some of the best honey in this area. He will be loved and missed.

There will be a celebration of his life this summer at his home.
