Charles "Charlie" Nathaniel Johnson, 71, of Ascutney, VT passed away on July 1st, 2024 at Mt Ascutney Hospital.

He was born on April 19,1953 to C. "Herbert" Johnson and Beaulah (Short) Johnson. Charlie graduated from Windsor High School in 1972. He worked many years at Tri-Timber as a lead maintenance. As well as Daniel's Construction as an equipment operator and retired from Jarvis & Son Construction.

Charlie was a lifelong farmer and Weathersfield Resident. He enjoyed hunting and spending time on his land on Goulden Ridge or "The Farm". Riding around in his buggy with his beloved Elsa dog.

He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Beaulah Johnson, sister Edith "Edie" Faucher and son Nathaniel Johnson.

Charlie is survived by daughter Shirray Johnson and partner Steven McLeod, three granddaughters Ashlyn Johnson, Marlee McLeod and Natalee McLeod, Ex-wife Terry Johnson, Brother Wayne Johnson and wife Darlene. Close friends and caretakers Patrick Farnsworth, Linda Taylor and Dakota Payson and lifelong friend Robert Hussey.

An open Celebration of Life will be held on August 10th 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at 511 Thrasher Rd in Ascutney (The Farm).
