Cody Lee Gray of Claremont NH; beloved son, grandson, brother, father and friend left this world unexpectedly on September 29, 2023. He was only 24 years old when heaven gained this beautiful angel. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Cody was born on November 24th, 1998 in Laconia NH to parents Tony Gray Jr. and Crystal Roth. Cody was Crystal's first adventure into motherhood and they say first born sons are their mother's best friend. This couldn't be truer for Crystal and Cody. Their bond was unbreakable.

Cody grew up in Claremont NH and lived in Franklin NH for a short time as a teenager.  All throughout his life he was a bubbly, happy soul who could light the darkest of corners. With an electric smile and contagious laughter, nothing could outshine his irrefutable positive outlook on life. He was incredibly kind and caring and impossible not to love.

The most important thing to Cody was family. He was a fierce protector of those he loved and cared for. The happiest and proudest day of his life was the day his son was born. His love for Jarod was immeasurable.  Cody's friends weren't just his friends, they were his 'fam' and he cherished time with his family and 'fam' more than anything.  Cody always said his favorite birthday present came on his 13th birthday when his little sister, his birthday twin, Izzy, was born. Cody was incredibly close to his brothers as well, and so extremely proud of the men they were becoming. He bragged of their accomplishments frequently.

You could often find Cody drawing for, or ON, his friends. Cody had a strong passion for art and music, especially rap. He loved expressing himself through drawing, writing, recording, and sharing his own words of wisdom, pain, and love. His family has had many therapeutic tears and giggles reminiscing over old Dekka original raps.  In the summertime Cody loved camping and anything to do with the water, especially the ocean.

Cody had several jobs throughout his short life. He loved working and being able to spoil his younger siblings and help his mom in any way that he could. He worked at McDonald's, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Circle K, and for a short time was learning the roofing trade with his dad, Cory. At the time of his passing, Cody was the night shift manager at KFC in Rutland, a position he loved and was extremely proud of.

Cody was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Amber and Tony Gray Sr., his Papa Mark Bixby, and his Uncle Mark Gray.

Cody is survived by his son Jarod, his father Tony Gray Jr, his mom and dad Crystal Roth and Cory Parizo Sr., his grandparents Laurie Bixby and Robert Roth Sr., his siblings Bradley Springer, Tyler Gray, Hunter Gray, Izzy Parizo, CJ Parizo, and cousin Angel Roth that he loved like a little sister, his Aunts and Uncles Heather Roth, Melissa Gray, Angie Christensen (Cheney), Stephanie Roth, Timothy Cheney Jr., Jason Roth, Robert Roth Jr., and his first love, the mother of his child, Tia Stiers, and several other cousins.

Services will be held at Stringer Funeral Home on October 14th at 2 PM, with visiting hours from 1-2 PM. Following the services their will be a celebration of life at the Elk's Lodge. Please feel free to bring a Pot Luck dish, and any pictures or memories to share with the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help fund his memorial to Timothy Cheney Jr. and Angie Christensen.
