Conrad J. Gaywont, 76, long time resident of Charlestown, NH, passed away on July 9, 2023 peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Oconto Falls, WI on September 24, 1946.  After high school, Conrad went on to join the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged after sustaining an injury when he was struck by shrapnel.  He received many metals including a purple heart.

Predeceased by Donna L. Gaywont in 2021.  They spent their early years supporting each other as Donna owned and operated family restaurants and Conrad drove cross country in his 18-wheeler for 30 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth "Punky" Monzon; son, Nicolas Givent, 4 stepchildren, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his brother, John Gaywont, along with Hershey, his chocolate Pomeranian.

Conrad was dealing with many health ailments but fought on and was rejoiced that over the last few months he was able to enjoy many laughs and make many more memories surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

His cremains will be laid to rest with his wife, Donna L. Gaywont at Pine Crest Cemetery Thursday, July 20th at 2 PM with military honors.
