Dale Wayne Decato, 60, of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 26, 2026 due to ongoing health issues.

He is survived by his three children, son, Jeffrey Decato of Claremont, NH, and two daughters, Linsey Decato of Charlestown, NH, and Kasey Decato of Manchester, NH; two grandchildren Mason Hewitt and Mariah Hewitt of Andover, NH; his mother and stepfather Joan Henault and William Henault of Claremont, NH; his father and stepmother Douglas Decato and Sandra Decato of Lebanon, NH; one brother Donald Decato of Verona, WI and two half-brothers Jay Soucy of Carmel, IN and Dwayne Decato of Lebanon, NH; one stepbrother Robert Decato of Lebanon, NH; three stepsisters Marie Corrigan of Enfield, NH, Debbie Pierce of Canaan, NH and Denise Pierce of Plainfield, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Mark Decato.

Dale was a happy go lucky, funny, hardworking, caring man who would do anything to help his friends and family. He was a very active member in our community and a well known face. Dale volunteered for several years at Arrowhead, done countless of projects for his friends and family around their homes and properties, and was a member of the American Legion Post 29, and the Polish American Citizen's Club in previous years.

One of the last things Dale wanted to tell his friends and family who struggle with alcohol and/or addiction that he wishes you the strength to get sober before it's too late. Dale loved and cared so deeply for all of his friends and family members.

Please join us at Stringer Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 9-11 am. A memorial service will take place at 11 am with burial to follow.  A get together will be at Daddy's Pizza from 12- 2 pm.
