Danny F. Upton, Sr.,70, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home.

He was born on August 22, 1952 in Townsend, VT to Earl and Frances (Peters) Upton.  He enjoyed working on his vehicles.  He worked in sawmills most of his life including Davis and Simon in Claremont and Cote and Reney of Grantham.

He was survived by his partner for 20 years, Sue Rapisura.

Danny did the best he knew how raising his kids, Sherrea Dow, Mike Gory-Pare, Candy Magoon, Danny Upton Jr., and 3 step-children, Toshia Hutchins, Justin Hutchins, and Dan Hutchins.  He also has multiple grand and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

He was predeceased by his son, Artie Desilet in 2012.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Claremont Senior Center, 5 Acer Heights in Claremont on November 19 ^th at 1PM.
