Darcie Lynn Lucero, age 40, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Jack Byrnes Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Darcie was born in Claremont, New Hampshire and spent her life-giving love, kindness, and compassion to everyone around her. She was the most loving, caring, and selfless person — someone who always gave more than she ever expected to receive. If anyone needed help, Darcie would give anything she had without hesitation.

She was married to the love of her life, Devin Lucero, for nearly 13 years. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and their children. Darcie loved planning family cruise vacations, soaking up the sun, and enjoying margaritas. She was an incredibly devoted mother to her 15-year-old twins, Addison and Chase Lucero. Her children were her entire world.

One of her greatest joys was watching Addie play soccer. It didn't matter where the game was, what time it started, or how she was feeling — Darcie was always there. Chase was her "little Chasey boy," and she never missed a chance to say he was the most handsome and sweetest boy in the world. She loved him to pieces.

Darcie is survived by her husband, Devin Lucero; her children, Addison and Chase; her parents, John and Diana Gauthier; her sisters, Kelsey Krahe and Paige MacLeay, and their husbands, Mark Krahe and Nick MacLeay; her brother, Ryan Gauthier; and her beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who were touched by her generous spirit.

Darcie was the heart of our family. She loved deeper, gave more fully, and cared more than anyone I've ever known. Being her husband was the greatest honor of my life. She was an incredible wife, the most amazing mother, the best vacation planner, and my best friend. Our lives are forever changed because of her love, and she will always be with us in everything we do and everywhere we go.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Darcie's memory to the Lucero family to assist with the children's future college education, or to the Jack Byrnes Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH, where she was cared for around the clock by an extraordinary team of nurses and doctors.

Darcie's love, strength, and kindness will live on forever through her husband, children, family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, February 23rd from 4 to 7pm at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, February 24th at 2pm at Forbes Tavern, 6 Club House Ln, Grantham, NH.
