David L. Mayhew born on October 14, 1957 in Springfield, VT passed away peacefully on May 1st after a courageous 41+ year battle with mental illness.
David was the beloved son of the late Jeanette and Leonard Mayhew. He is survived by his loving sisters Annette Vadney and her husband Stephen and Theresa Butterfield and her husband James.
He is also lovingly remembered by his three nieces and nephew and several great nieces and nephews, all of whom had a special place in his heart.
David graduated from Stevens High School in June 1975. He went on to work at several machine shops with his last place of employment being Split Ball Bearing.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thank you to the staff at Arbor View and Dartmouth Hospital took such great care of David during the final days of his life.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM with a service at 11 on May 9th at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont, NH.
