Dennis E. Greenwood, of Claremont, NH passed away on September 5, 2024 at the Elm Wood Center in Claremont.

He was born in Claremont, NH on February 19, 1939 the son of Dennis and Yvonne Greenwood.

He served in US Army and was a member of Army National Guard. Was a past member of the Moose Lodge. He had worked for Jones & Lamson for many years, then Bomar and finally retiring from Dorr Woolen Mill.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching and videoing his sons' races. He loved spending time with his family and going on small trips with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Joan (Foisset) Greenwood; son, Dennis Greenwood; his sister, Joann Greenwood-Williams and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Raymond Greenwood and daughter-in-law, Maryanne Greenwood.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH on Wednesday, September 11th from 5 to 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary Church on Thursday morning, September 12th at 11AM. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
