Donald J. Bailey, 96, of Goshen, N.H., passed away on January 29, 2026, at New London Hospital, New London, N.H.

Born in Claremont, N.H., he graduated from St. Mary High School and continued his education in Boston and the Hartford, Conn., area. He was employed by various companies and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 35 years of service, where he held positions in manufacturing, training, and human resources.

Don enjoyed playing piano in senior living facilities, and had been a volunteer with various organizations, including Literacy Volunteers of America, and Families in Service to Help Others.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two daughters, Martha T. Bailey of Cheshire, Conn. and Brenda (Robert) Montagna of New London, N.H.; a son, Daniel C. Bailey of Oro Valley, Ariz.; three grandchildren, June A. (Douglas H.) Dickerson of Raymond, N.H., and Marissa Montagna and Tori Montagna, both of New London, NH; a great-grandson, Anthony D. Dickerson of Raymond, N.H.; and a daughter-in-law, Jane E. Bailey of Raymond, N.H. He was predeceased by a son, Gary R. Bailey.

Visiting Hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont, N.H on Friday, February 6th from 1pm to 3pm with a prayer service at 3pm.  Please remember him in your prayers.
