It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Underwood, 68, of Claremont, NH on April 27, 2026.

She was born on June 30, 1957. A 1975, graduate of Stevens High School.

She began her career of community service working at the Goodwin Community Center shortly after graduating until her retirement.

Doreen was a lover of animals and always had fur babies that she spoiled. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice that she shared at karaoke as much as she could. She was a fan of American Idol and went to many concerts and even met a few American Idol contestants. She loved to draw and paint and was quite a gifted artist. She also loved to cook and was happy to give friends and family her homemade goodies.

She will be missed dearly.

Doreen was predeceased by her parents, Hilda (Converse) and Donald Underwood Sr.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Underwood and her brother, Donald Underwood Jr (Debbie); nieces, Jennifer Viger and Amanda Viger; great nephew, Ashton Briere; great niece, Kailey Waterman; also aunts, uncles, cousins and her sweet kitty, Allie.

Per her wishes, she did not want a funeral service. We will have a family and friends gathering at a later date.
