Doris (Hall) Martin went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2022 in the presence of her son and daughter during a brief stay in Cornish.

She was born on February 1, 1930, in Claremont, the daughter of George Frederich Hall and Cecilia M. Bruneau. A lifetime resident of Claremont, attending Claremont schools.

She did appreciate traveling for many years to Arizona with her husband, Albert Martin.

Doris and Al were married for 47 years, both were avid golfers. She was a 70-year member of the Claremont Country Club.

A devoted homemaker, when her children were young, enjoying sewing, knitting, cooking and cleaning. Later working at IGA and Hannaford, retiring at 65.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Bonita Gardner in 1981.

Doris is survived by her husband, her son, Gary Gardner of Hawaii, her daughter, Roxann Gardner of Cornish, and Eric Martin of Massachusetts; as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services were held privately in West Claremont Burying Ground.
