Duane H Tefft Jr, 49, of Claremont, New Hampshire passed away unexpectedly on June 19,2021 at his home. Born February 10,1972 in West Point, New York. The son of the late Duane and Alice Tefft of Putney Vermont. On July 11, 2017, he married his beautiful caring wife Jenn Morin in Halifax, Vermont.

Duane loved being a firefighter/EMT. He served on several departments over the years but was a current member of the Cavendish Volunteer Fire Department in Cavendish, Vermont. He was an avid race fan of stock car and dirt racing. Duane also enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming and camping.

Duane is survived by his loving wife Jenn Tefft. A brother Warren Tefft of Putney, Vermont and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Duane is preceded in death by his Parents and Grandparents.

Calling hours will be at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street Claremont NH, on Wednesday June 30th from 5 to 6:30 with Service to follow at 6:30. A private burial will be at a later date.
