Edith "Edie" Quinlan, 58, of Charlestown, NH passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2022 at her home.

Edie was born on November 28, 1964, she followed her identical twin sister into this world, the daughter of Alice Marie and John Quinlan Sr.

Edie worked different jobs in Springfield, VT and the surrounding area. She mostly loved her jobs where she could meet and talk with different people and sometimes make new friends. Edie was proud of her family whether blood or chosen, she worried and loved them unconditionally. She was the proudest of her son Derek and would tell everyone just how proud she was of him. She was a lot like her twin sister, caring, loving and compassionate and willing to help anyone.

She was a homebody, she loved being at home with Stewart the dog, which she took very good care of and loved to spoil him with treats. She loved when Nancy was home and would watch her NCIS shows, play Yahtzee, really doing anything as long as they were together.

She is survived by one son, Derek Quinlan and his fiancé, Kristen Peterson of Rhode Island; two sisters, Kathy Tagaglione and her husband, William of Cranston, RI and Vivian Sawyer and her husband, Jeremy of Windsor, VT; three brothers, Leonard Tessier and his wife, Rose of N Providence, RI, John Quinlan and William Quinlan both of Providence, RI; a chosen sister/best friend, whom she lived with for 15 years, Nancy Muskelly of Charlestown; also many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved very much.

She was predeceased by her parents, her twin sister, Frances Quinlan and two brothers, Richard Quinlan and Charles O'Leary.

Visiting hours will be held at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown on Saturday, October 8 ^th from 2 to 4PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Upper Valley Humane Society.
