Eldon E. Roy, 79, of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at Genesis in Keene, NH.

He was predeceased by his parents, George W. and Ruth W. Roy; a younger brother, Stephen A. Roy; brother-in-law, Michael A. Cote; and a nephew, Scott A. Lizotte.

He is survived by his brother, Raymond Roy and wife, Eunice, his sister, Bernie E. Cote, nephews, Damien S. Bailey, Raymond L. Roy and wife, Wanda and Walter Roy, nieces, Tina Roy and Tammie L. Ferguson. Also, many great nieces and nephews.

He went from a farm boy to a logger, to heavy equipment mechanic to Ruger's where he retired in 2008.  He liked working with his hands.  He loved God, family, fishing, hunting, and in retirement mowing the lawn.  A gentle fun soul who will be missed.  God bless.
