Eleanor (DeSantis) Dalton, 89, passed away Sunday morning, November 6, 2022 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene NH after a short illness.

Eleanor was born on May 28, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Esther and Mario DeSantis, growing up in Springfield Gardens, Queens where she graduated from St. Catherines of Sienna. In October 1952, she married Joseph Dalton and recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.  She moved to Claremont in 1973 where she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cooking and was known for chocolate Easter baskets.  Eleanor and her husband Joe spent their retirement years in Cocoa, Florida before moving back to Claremont in June to be closer to family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Susan Sadonsky and husband Mike, and 3 sons, Joseph and wife Karyn of Concord, NC, Stephen of Cocoa, Fl, Jim and wife Michelle of Pittsfield, NH and Daughter In-Law Sue McCrossin of Claremont, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Stringer Funeral Home on Sunday Nov. 13th from 5-7 PM and services on Monday at St. Mary's Church at 11 AM followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
