George Morton, 75, died peacefully at home in Claremont on April 24, 2021 surrounded by family.

George was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Morton of Claremont, daughter Melissa Hall and husband Jason Hall, son Craig Morton and wife Trina Morton, son Tony Morton, son Brian Morton and wife Angela Morton, daughter Kelly Sheridan and husband Anthony Sheridan, daughter Kristy Morton, son Glen Morton and wife Donna Morton. 19 Grandchildren, Justin DeGuise, Darren Morton, Seth Hall, Julianna Morton, Donna Morton, Austin Morton, Nikolas Morton, Alexis Morton, Katherine Barbour, Kaleb Barbour, Abbygail Morton, Ava Sheridan, Anthony Sheridan Jr., Dakota Short, Jacob Fligg, Kianna Morton, Mystic Morton, Grace Burns, Barton Burns.

He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family that he cared deeply about and loved.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 30 ^th from 5-7pm at Stringer Funeral Home 146 Broad Street in Claremont. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 1 ^st , at 11am, Mountain View Cemetery, Claremont NH.
