Grace Skiba Case – 83 – Charlestown, NH, Died at Home on Monday, July 22, 2024

Grace was born November 29, 1941 in Suffield, CT as an only child of Stanley and Ethel Skiba. She graduated from Suffield High School in 1959 or 1960.

Grace spent most of her life in Suffield and on the hill in West Granby, Connecticut, enjoying her passions of gardening, canning, doing crafts, going to yard sales and antique stores and raising her family. She was proud of her administrative career at Emhart, CIGNA and later in life at Sugar River Mills when she moved to New Hampshire in the 1990's. She thrived in Sullivan County, continuing gardening, with she and her husband becoming "flippers" making new friends, all while bravely coping with breast cancer twice and increasing  blindness.

She is survived by her partner Robert Norman of Charlestown, NH, her ex-husband and his wife Ernest & Penny Case of Seminole, FL, her children and their partners: Ernest & Patty Case of Dover-Foxcroft, ME and Dawn Sutherland & Louis Selitto of Deltona, FL;

4 Grand-Children and their partners: Ashley Case & Tom Schwartz of Orono, ME, Tyler Case of Milo, ME, Jeffrey & Tammy Sutherland of DeBary, FL, and Jason Sutherland of Claremont, NH;

5 Great Grand-Children: Iris & Ben Schwartz of Orono, ME, Zara of Bangor, ME, Paige Sutherland of DeBary, FL and Kayleigh Sutherland of Stafford, CT.

So many others that mattered to our Mom, including Joni, Mickey, Louie [Case] Scalzo, Susie & Norman Stolzenberg, Ray Nuttle, Joyce Custer, the Blind Association and so many more who enriched her days or passed before. Missed but not forgotten.
