Grace Lois (Kennett) Smith, born November 7th, 1963, passed away in her home in Charlestown, NH on January 13th, 2024.

Grace was married on October 18th, 1980, to her forever soul mate, David J. Smith, Sr. and spent forty-two years happily and faithfully by his side. Grace and David raised two sons together, David J. Smith, Jr. (Tamara L. Smith) and Michael L. Smith (Heather J. Smith). The lights of Grace's life were her granddaughters (of Michael and Heather Smith), Madeleine and Isabella, and her grandson, Johan Du Toit. Grace grew up as the youngest daughter in a large family, with five sisters: Tami Hancock (Tom Hancock) of Alstead, NH; Mary Ann Rosenauer of Waynesville, MO; Donna Billado of Bellows Falls, VT; Marie McLain of North Walpole, NH; and Brenda Donahue of Concord, NH; as well as three brothers: Leslie Kennett (Rose Kennett) of Newport, NH; Dennis Kennett (Joan Kennett) of Charlestown, NH; and Richard Kennett (deceased) of Claremont, NH. Grace was predeceased by her father, Leslie B. Kennett; mother, Lois M. (Billado) Dow, and her step father, Frank J. Dow, Sr. Grace was deeply loved by her large family, including an abundance of nieces and nephews, and her loyal dog, Buddy, who was by her side at all times.

Grace would want to spread her love to everyone who sends condolences to her family, and would want everyone to remember her for the spunky, outspoken woman she was. There will be no formal services, but a celebration of life will be held for her family at the VFW in Charlestown, NH on February 3rd, 2024.
