Gregory Chester Middleton of Claremont, NH passed away suddenly on the morning of Thursday, November 10th. He was born in Windsor, VT on December 26, 1946 to John Albert and Marjorie (Crossett) Middleton. Gregory graduated from Stevens High School in 1965, followed by Husson College in 1969 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Intrigued by Texas since watching Davy Crockett as a young boy, Greg headed south following college. He spent the majority of his adult life in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, moving back to Claremont in 2009. Greg worked for Skinner Drug Company and K-Mart before embarking on a career in insurance. He worked for various companies over the years prior to finding his niche working in the sports and entertainment industry as a claims adjuster and manager. Greg retired from W. R. Berkley Specialty Insurance Group in 2009.

Greg is survived by his loving partner of 25 years, Courtney Steele, his two precious daughters, Anissa Allen and Jamie Lançon, their spouses, Brandon Allen, and Jared Lançon, his three beautiful granddaughters, Kendry and Kora Lançon, and Lula Allen, and his three handsome grandsons, Kade, Kobe, and Kyler Northrip. He is also survived by his brother John Middleton of Springfield, VT and wife Alice Emmons, and his sister Sue Croney of West Berlin, VT and her husband William Croney.

Greg loved his Westerns, his news, driving the New England countryside, seeing the annual bluebonnets of Texas, and taking photographs, but most of all, Greg loved all of his family  deeply. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 16th from 12 pm to 3 pm in the Woven Room at The Common Man in Claremont to honor a life well lived and filled with love.
