Henry H Ferland, 96, of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024.  He was a kind and gentle person who loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Henry worked for Fellows Gear Shaper for over 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing carpentry work and taking trips to the ocean and casino.

Henry was a World War II Army Veteran, who was stationed in Japan. He was a life long resident of Claremont and a life long member of St. Joseph's Church.

He is predeceased by his loving wife, Josephine Belski Ferland, who passed away in August 2023, which was a few months shy of their 75th wedding anniversary. Both Henry and Josephine were homebound during the last few years of their lives but were able to remain together in their home under the tender care of their son, James Ferland and their daughter, Mary Neuges. His family is grateful for the wonderful nurses in the VA Hospice Program that came in to assist at the end of his life.

Henry is survived by his sister, Georgette Beaudry, his brother, Marcel Ferland, his son, James Ferland, and his daughters and sons in laws, Susan and Gary Bromley, Kathy and David Langevin, Jan Smith, and Mary and Mike Neuges, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours and a celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
