Hilda J. Underwood, 87, of Maple Avenue in Claremont died on Friday, April 29, 2022.

She was born in Claremont, NH on December 20, 1934.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mildred (Foisy) Converse, her husband, Donald Underwood Sr., and a sister, Brenda Nightingale.

Her surviving family includes two daughters, Donna Bohn of VT and Doreen Underwood of Claremont; one son, Donald Jr and his wife, Debra of Claremont; two brothers, Larry Converse and his wife, Janice and Harry Converse Jr and his wife, Kathy; a sister, Apryl Blake and her husband, John; two grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and her husband, Luke and Amanda Viger and her partner, Joel Waterman; two great grandchildren, Ashton Birere and Kailey Waterman and several nieces and nephews.

Hilda worked as a secretary for Agel Corman, Valley Family Physicians and Reeds Trucking.

She loved and enjoyed her pets. She also loved camping, crafts and puzzles. She sang in the Trinity Episcopal Church. She loved music especially Elvis.

There will be no service at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
