Ida "Pinky" Gobin Chamberlain died peacefully on June 1st at the age of 103while residing at the Sullivan County Home. Pinky was born on May 12, 1922 in Newport N.H.  to the late Merton and Mae Gobin. She graduated from Towle High School in 1939.  In her youth she was a champion acrobat and performed all over the state. She was very proud of this.

She married Ernest Chamberlain on April 18,1942 in St Patrick Catholic Church in Newport NH. During WW II she  followed her husband around the country to various Army training camps until he left for the Pacific. During WWII she worked at the Newport Clothing Company making overcoats for the  U S Army.

When her husband returned from WW II they made their home in Claremont and raised their two children. She was a loving mother and grandmother always taking time for her grandsons. She was a beautiful seamstress and took pride in her work.  In 1996 they moved to Deland FL  and she was very active at the YMCA.  In 2017 she returned to Charlestown NH to live with her son and daughter-in-law.

Pinky is survived by her son Ernest "Budd" Chamberlain and wife Mary.   A daughter Bonnie Chamberlain Eno and husband Victor.  Four grandsons Mark Eno ( wife Heather), Jason Eno ( wife Elizabeth) , Ross Chamberlain ( wife Jamie), Dana Chamberlain.  Four great grandchildren Dylan Eno , Lily Eno, Addy Eno and Cameron Chamberlain.  A sister Alice Blanchette and also several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, her brother Robert Gobin and sister Ann Farwell.

There will be no visting hours and a graveside service will be at the St Mary Cemetery at a later date.
