Irene A. Tebo, 80, A longtime resident of Claremont, NH, passed away surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Valley Regional Hospital.

She was born in Claremont, NH on February 28, 1942 to Roland & Rhea Deziel and lovingly raised as the daughter of Pete and Mary Normandin. She graduated from St Mary High School in 1960 where she met and married, James A. Tebo Sr on December 25, 1960.

While raising 3 children she worked in the school system as a lunch aid, before beginning her banking career with Claremont National, Bank East, and Shamut Bank.  She retired from the Sullivan County Nursing Home in 1998

Together with her husband they built their home in Unity, NH. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, and loved reading.

Momma is survived by her son, James A. Tebo Jr (wife Awilda) of Naples FL and 2 daughters, Terry A. Smead (husband Scott) of Weathersfield, VT and Jodi L. Bailey (husband Rod) of Claremont, NH; 3 grandsons, Mathieu J. Tebo of Southampton, MA, Nicolas J. Tebo of  Southampton, MA and Eric A. Silvia of Rutland, VT; 3 great grandchildren, Owen C. Tebo of Thetford, UK, Teagan J. Tebo of Holyoke, MA and Hayley E. Silvia of Rutland, VT; and her brother, Fred Normandin of Claremont, NH.

She is predeceased by her husband, James A Tebo Sr. on October 20, 2001; sister, Lucille Abbey and two brothers, George Normandin and Henry Normandin.

Friends and Family may call at the Stinger Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday, September 30 ^th from 9:30am to 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock at St. Josephs Church with Father Sebastian officiating, followed with an interment in St. Mary Cemetery.
