Irmgard Siegele Blish passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  She is survived by her son, Herbert L. Blish, grandson, Nicholas H. Blish and wife Megan Blish, and great grandson, Lucas G. Blish.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence A. "Pete" Blish of 63 years, daughter, Britta Ly Blish and her parents, Eugen Georg Gottlieb Siegele and Frida Marie Siegele.

She was a strong supporter and longtime member of the United Methodist Church in North Charlestown.

Irmgard enjoyed gardening, camping, hiking, birdwatching and cooking her favorite German dishes. In her later years, she enjoyed talking about her childhood in Germany during World War II; both the hardships and the special times.

In her younger years in Germany, she worked as an administrative assistant in an attorney's office, and in her later years she worked at the Selectmen's Office in Charlestown, NH.

A graveside service will be held at the Hope Hill Cemetery in North Charlestown, NH on Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 PM.  A reception will be held at the North Charlestown Methodist Church after the service.
