On January 10, 2023, US Marine James England, of Claremont, NH, went home to be with God. James was born in Malden, MA on January 23, 1983. He graduated from North Carolina University after majoring in chemistry. James served 2 tours in Iraq with the Marine Corps and 2 tours in Afghanistan as a civilian working under a government contract.
James leaves behind loved ones including his mother, June England of Candia, NH, his stepfather, Robert Holt, of Candia, NH, stepbrother, Jonathan Holt, of Pembroke, NH, his fiancé Sophia Defrancesco and their unborn child, uncle Paul Kasianchuk of Conway, NH and aunt Jean Watson of Anchorage, Alaska.

Calling hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont, NH, on Tuesday, January 17 ^th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Interment will be at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH on Friday, January 20 ^th at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the VFW Post 4479 in Raymond, NH
