James F. LaPlante, 78, of Claremont, NH passed away June 24, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Claremont on June 8, 1945, the son of Emile and Rita (Eno) LaPlante and resided all of his life in Claremont.

Jim was a self-employed realtor, worked for the Sullivan County and for the State of Vermont.

Jim was a past member of the Claremont Board of Realtors and was a past member and President of the Sullivan County Law.

He is survived by wife Linda (Petelle) LaPlante whom he married on July 3, 1971; two nephews, Nelson LaPlante and Kevin LaPlante.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother, Nelson LaPlante and nephew Michael LaPlante

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont on Wednesday, June 28th from 10 to 11AM with a service at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
