Jane Katherine (Mongeon) Plant, 77, died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 10, 2023 following a long illness.

She was born in Claremont, NH on September 5, 1945, the daughter of Norman Ira and Priscilla (Tatro) Mongeon and resided in Claremont NH her entire life.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She enjoyed traveling and cruises with her family and friends. Jane was an outstanding gymnast, and diver. She competed in diving competitions for the Claremont Swim Team in the 1950s. She also enjoyed and never missed attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley C. Plant and they recently celebrated their 60 ^th Wedding Anniversary on November 24, 1962. Surviving family members include daughters, Janice R. Laplante, Susan J. (Craig) Ohlson, Sharon J. (Mark) Chase; son, Wesley N. (Tad Blackington) Plant; grandchildren, Matthew Laplante, Danielle Laplante, Scott Laplante, Joshua Beliveau, Stefan Beliveau, Courtney Chase, and Katelyn Chase; sister, Normalee Sprano; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by great grandsons, Braden C. Beliveau and Kai Chase; sister, Jacqueline P LaRoche; brothers Norman I. Mongeon, Jr. and Terry N. Mongeon.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday, March 24 ^th from 5 to 7 PM.
