Janet Clayton, 91, of Springfield, VT passed away on April 7th at Gill Odd Fellow Home in Ludlow, VT following a brief illness with her daughter, Deborah by her side.

She was born April 26th, 1933 in Oil City, PA to Waldo & Alda (Andrews) Barnes.

Janet was Co-Owner of Letterman Press in Claremont, NH for many years.

She loved reading; working in her flower gardens; Jigsaw puzzles and her many trips to the Ocean with her daughter, Susan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Waldo & Alda Barnes; sister, Erla (Barnes) Siebert; daughter, Susan Gold; grandson, Robert John Nix.

She is survived by son, Randy Nix (Judy) North Ridgeville, Ohio; son, Steven Nix (Anne) Springfield, VT: daughter, Deborah Moore (Larry) DeSoto, TX and son-in-law, Larry Gold Mentor, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 very special longtime friend, Claudia Zombeck.

A family service will be held in Ohio. At a later date, a Celebration of Life will be held here for family and friends.
