Jean M. (O'Connell) Hafner, 79, passed peacefully on December 31, 2022 with her family by her side.

She was born in 1943 in Ware, MA to the late Richard O'Connell (1968) and Nellie Waterman, her beloved Mother who passed in October, 2022.

Jeannie made friends wherever she went and had the gift of making everyone feel like family. She was compassionate, caring, sincere and unselfish to a fault and will be remembered for her loving nature and her playfulness.

Jeannie loved the Red Sox and had a deep love for animals.

Sadly, Jeannie lost her husband, Charlie, in 1995.

She leaves behind her son, Richard Hafner and his wife Mona, her daughter, Judi Canon and her husband, Matthew and their dog, Disa, who she adored.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony is being planned for September.
