Jeanette A. King of Charlestown, NH passed away on September 22, 2023 at Peaceful Harvest Home where she resided for the last four years.

She was born in Charlestown, NH on September 22, 1937 the daughter of Fred and Elsie (Davis) Martel.

She attended school in Charlestown NH. In 1966, she married Francis King whom she was married to for fifty-two years prior to his passing in 2018.

Jeanette enjoyed playing cards, camping, knitting, and spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren.

Her surviving family includes her sister, Evelyn Crosby of Bellows Falls, VT; son, Dana A. Martel of Lowell, MA; daughters, Debra J Brickey and her husband, Robert of Springfield, VT and Rhonda R. Tewksbury and her husband, Michael of Charlestown, NH; grandchildren, Brandon Sheldon and his wife, Kristie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sarah Nguyen and her husband, Alvin of Belchertown, MA, Garret Tewksbury of Charlestown, NH, Marisa Lewis and her husband, Anthony of Claremont, NH; six great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Sheila Martel of Charlestown, NH.

Jeanette was predeceased by her son, Francis "Joe" King Jr and a brother, Ronald E. Martel.

A graveside service will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11AM.

The family would like to thank Jennifer Massicote and her staff at peaceful Harvest Home for their tremendous love and care they provided for Jeanette. They made her last years full of laughter, love, and dedicated care.
