Jeffrey B. Wells, 73, passed away on January 19, 2025 at Valley Regional Hospital.  He was born on March 4, 1951, in Claremont, NH the son of Howard and Eloise Wells.  He lived in Claremont most of his life.

He was a graduate of Stevens High School class of 1969.  He then graduated from Claremont Vocational Technical College in 1971.  Jeff served in the US Air Force from 1971-1975.  He was a member of the Claremont Jaycees and served as president 1980-1981 Jeff owned his own office machine business and retired in 2021.

Jeff enjoyed camping and was known for his huge campfires.  He also enjoyed stamp collecting, growing roses, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Members of his family include his wife of 53 years Claire (Poisson) Wells, a son Steven Wells and his wife Christie Getman, a daughter Lynn (Wells) Little and her husband Mark Little, four grandchildren Rylee Little, Olivia Little, Brady Little, and Griffin Wells.  Two sisters Judith Wells and Jane (Wells) Adams and her husband William Adams, two nieces, and a nephew.  He was predeceased by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Saturday, January 25th. Calling hours will be from Noon to 2PM with a service at 2PM. Burial will follow at the West Claremont Burying Grounds with Military Honors.
