Jerry David LaPorte, 62, of Hartland, VT passed away on November 9, 2023 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

He was born in Newport, NH on August 23, 1961 and resided and attended school in Claremont, NH.  He was employed at Black River Produce, Okemo Mountain, LaValley's in Ludlow, VT and most recently Upper Valley Produce in White River Junction, VT.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Rene J.  LaPorte Sr, , mother, Bernice (Bunny) LaPorte, and older brother, Rene J.  LaPorte Jr.  He is survived by his brother, Arthur (Colleen Coskren) of Claremont, NH, his sister Bonny (David Griswold) of Hartland, VT, several cousins, nephews and nieces and very special friends. He will be thought of often and terribly missed.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Claremont, NH on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12-4:00 PM.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
