Joan F. Greenwood, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Valley Regional Hospital.

She was born in Huntington, Long Island, New York on September 19, 1939 the daughter of Auggie and Marion (Duff) Foisset.

She was an LPN and worked for Springfield Hospital after 40+ years retiring in 2001. She had belonged to the Moose Club. She enjoyed going for motorcycle rides with her husband, going on cruises and videos of her son racing. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Greenwood and girlfriend, Sandy Tibbetts, sisters-in-law, Joann Williams and Tish Foisset and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Greenwood, her brother, Ed Foisset and sister, Betty and her husband Jim Kelly, a daughter-in-law, Maryanne Greenwood.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Homes, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 9:30-10:30AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St Mary Church at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
