John C. Williams passed away peacefully at Sullivan County Health Care surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

He was born in Lebanon, NH on October 9, 1958, to Mary Ellen (Reside) and Norman C. Williams.

John had worked for the City of Claremont for many years. He had also worked for Ruger and Merriam Graves.

He enjoyed Nascar racing, specifically Dale Earnhardt Sr., watching the different wildlife in the field behind his house, four wheeling working on vehicles and spending time with family.

John was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Mary Williams; sisters, Sally Fellows and Mary Jean Ieno; brothers, David L. Williams Sr and Edward Williams.

He is survived by his four children, Ashley Williams, Christy Miller, Nathan Williams and Jeffrey Williams; seven grandchildren, Makaila Williams, Hazel Grace Aldridge, Noah Macie, Brynlee Blackwell, Ainsley Williams, Hayden and Hadley; his sister, Linda Tyler; brothers, Herbert Williams, Everett Williams, Thomas Williams, Robert Williams and Michael Williams and many nieces, nephews and other family.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Wednesday, May 4 ^th from 4 to 6PM. A memorial service will be at 6PM with Priscilla Hull.
