June J. (Shepard) Zweeres, 88 of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully on March 2,2022 of natural causes. She was born in Claremont, NH, the daughter of Nina and Charles Shepard on July 4, 1933.
June and her 11 siblings were raised in Unity, NH and all attended Stevens High School in Claremont, NH. After graduation June went to work at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital as a secretary. While working at Dartmouth June met her future husband, Favian C. Zweeres. After marrying Favian they moved to Claremont to live and raise a family, June went to work at area nursing homes. After Favian's passing in 1986, June switched to private duty nursing care, which she retired from in 1995 so she could help her children with their children when needed.
June leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a step-daughter, Jeffrey F. Zweeres of Spotsylvania, VA and his wife, Toya, Gerald R. Zweeres of North Pole, AK and his wife, Donna, Geri Johnson of Newport, NH and her husband, Eric and Theresa Dennison of Evansville, IN and her husband, Bill; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Carrie, Dominic, Joseph, Nathan, Kylie, Beth, Heather, Kyle and Hannah, and ten great-grandchildren.
As well as being predeceased by her husband, Favian, June was also predeceased by her 11 siblings, Raymond, Madelain, Theda, Wilford, Olive, Ruth, Robert, Shirley, Ernest, Wendell and Wayne. She was also predeceased by daughter Carol and step-children Dennis and Patricia Zweeres.
Following June's wishes there will be a graveside service will be held in St. Mary Cemetery in Claremont, NH on Saturday, July 2 ^nd at Noon.
