Karen G. Jones, 81 of Claremont, NH, passed away on March 2, 2025, at her home after a long year and 4 months of battling with cancer.
Karen was born April 7,1943, the daughter of Floyd and Rena Tracy. She is a 1961 graduate of Steven High School. She worked as an LNA for Cedar Hill until she retired.
On July 1,1961, she married John R Jones. Sr and they shared a loving life together raising their family for 27 years and he died in 1988. In 2015, she was blessed to marry David R Shute.
She leaves behind David and her children, Pamela Lord (Kit) of Cornish, Tracie Viens (Daniel) of Claremont, Janet Jones (Donald) of Lake Placid FL, Michelle Adams (Everett) of Claremont, John R Jones Jr (Risa) of Newport; her bonus daughter, Virginia Snide (Ron) of Springfield, VT. 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; her sister, Janet McFaul of Woodsville, NH also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Karen would love that you give to the Oncology department at Valley Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Friday, March 7th at 2PM with calling hours from 1 to 2pm prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in private with her family.
