Kevin A. Breault, 65, of Claremont, NH passed away on April 28, 2023 at his home. He was born in Claremont on January 16, 1958, the son of Donald Sr. and Frances Zombeck Breault.

He was a lifelong resident of Claremont. He attended St Mary's Grammar School and Stevens High School, graduating in 1976.

Kevin was Licensed Master Plumber. He was currently employed by the Claremont School District as a Custodian in the Maintenance Department at the Tech Center. He also had worked at both the Claremont Middle School and Stevens High School. He was the President of the Maintenance Workers Union.

Prior to working for the School District, he was the owner of Claremont Plumbing and Heating. He started his plumbing career when he was in High School working for NC Marro Plumbing and Heating.

Kevin had been a long-time member of St. Joseph Church. He would often be seen passing the collection basket at the 8 AM Sunday Mass. In past years when the Parish held its annual Lawn Party, he was the Penny Pitch Guy.

His favorite pass time was to go on adventures with his best buddies, Leo, George and Phil to special locations including Hampton Beach, to see George Carlin perform and the sand sculptures, Maine for Lobster rolls and Gilford to attend concerts at the Bank of NH pavilion and in his younger years, Wicked Wednesdays at the Duck Inn in Springfield, VT.

He enjoyed being in the great outdoors, whether working in his vegetable garden where he had a green thumb, tending flower beds or taking long walks in the woods foraging for edible mushrooms and fiddleheads. And of course, fishing.

He was a devoted fan of the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox.

His favorite cartoons were Garfield, Calvin & Hobbs and the Far Side. He had an extensive collection of Garfield memorabilia.

He loved cats and had a soft spot for orange-colored ones. His kitty Rusty will certainly miss him.

Everyone who knew and loved him will miss him.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Ouellette and her husband, Michael; niece, Nicole Ouellette and her partner, Hugh Adam of Franklin Park, IL; many cousins.

He is predeceased by his mother, Frances Breault; grandparents, Charles and Sophie Zombeck and Fredrick and Ida Breault and nephew, Anthony Ouellette.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont on Monday, May 8 ^th from noon to 2PM with a service at 2PM. Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Sullivan County Humane Society, P.O. Box 111, Claremont, NH 03743.

A graveside service will be held in St Mary Cemetery in Claremont on September 11th at 11AM.
