On December 2, 2025, Linda Baron Haeseler passed peacefully at Vitality Living Pine Lodge Memory Care in Spring Hill, Florida. She was born to Arthur R. Baron and Dorothy M. Osgood-Baron on May 3, 1951 in Claremont, NH. Linda was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in 1969. She married Richard V. Haeseler In 1999 and lived with her husband in New Port Richey, Florida. They lived there until Richard became sick and later passed on April 6, 2024. About a year before Richard's passing Linda had entered Vitality Living Assisted Living in Spring Hill, FL. Later she transferred to their Memory Care Unit.
Following her graduation from St. Mary's HS in 1969 she graduated from New Hampshire College in Manchester, NH with an AS degree in Business.
Linda's work history following college was with the FAA in Nashua, NH. Following a short tenure there Linda went to work in Higher Education both at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and then at Yale University in New Haven, CT. After serving in an administrative staff position at Yale, she moved on to industry and worked for General Electric in Connecticut. She then transferred to GE in Florida and took up residence in Palm Harbor, Florida. The division she worked for was later sold to IBM and she finished out her career with them.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Arthur R. Baron and Dorothy M. Baron, sister-in-law Jacqueline L. Gilbert-Baron and her husband Richard V. Haeseler. Current family members are her lone sibling Robert G. Baron and his wife Bonnie Haley-Baron. There were no children. She is survived by her niece Tamitha L. Perry of Claremont, NH and nephew Thomas R. Baron and their spouses plus great niece Samantha Perry-Cramer and her family of Kissimmee, Florida which includes great-great niece Alice Cramer. Brandon Perry of Plymouth, NH and Tyler and Tucker Baron of Concord, NH are her great nephews.
Linda and her husband Richard enjoyed traveling the country and internationally together. In her childhood years she was a member of the St. Mary Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps of Claremont and always enjoyed music. Linda was also active in local and national politics and worked on President Obama's first presidential campaign in Florida. She was an avid football fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg.
She will be remembered as an active and engaging personality who loved her family and friends and former classmates dearly. She will be missed by all.
No funeral arrangements have yet been made. A family gathering will occur sometime in the summer.
