Lois "Burnice" Desimone, 92 of Walpole NH passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022

She was born on September 14, 1929 to Harry Allen and Ola (Ogle) Allen in Maryville Tennessee. The sixth of eight children.

Burnice prided herself in her fierce independence. Moving away from home at 16 to live with her brother in Alabama. A few years later she started a job at AT&T where she met the love of her life, Joe Desimone. Burnice and Joe moved to different parts of Florida, buying and fixing homes. She enjoyed getting her hands dirty and putting in a good days work. Burnice was instrumental in fixing up both the inside and outside of the homes they bought.

In 1982 Burnice and Joe moved to Walpole NH where she spent the next 40 years developing her passion for gardening. She worked tirelessly to groom and shape her 2 acres of land into a beautiful landscape. Her gardens were even featured in a local magazine. Burnice also enjoyed her trips to Keene with Joe where they ate at their favorite restaurant, Friendlys.

Burnice is survived by her loving niece Brenda Kontorchik and her husband Samuel. Loving brother Bill Allen and his wife Adelia as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will always be a reason why someone is put into your life. Either you need them to change your life or you're the one that will change theirs. Burnice will be missed by her "little friends" Joshua, James and Joseph Paulette whom looked to her as a great grandmother. Also by Josh and Kathy Paulette whom looked to Burnice as their own grandmother.
