Lorraine Adams, 97 of Sullivan County Health Care in Unity NH died December 22, 2022. She was born in North Adams MA on December 27, 1924, the daughter of Ernest Dumoulin and Julia (Poirot) Dumoulin.

Lorraine spent her early years in North Adams. She married Robert Adams, also of North Adams on June 24, 1944. She gave birth to her three children in that city. She and her family moved to Claremont NH in 1955 when her husband took a new position at Joy Manufacturing. She became active in the Claremont Garden club and she also enjoyed sewing, knitting, cross stitch and crewel embroidery. She was a bookkeeper for many years for Lambert Oil in Claremont and several other businesses in NH and CT. Lorraine and her husband would later relocate to several other cities in NH, CT and NY as his work changed. They eventually retired to Beverly Hills FL where they would live for 10 years. When her husband's health began to fail they returned to NH where they lived in Charlestown. While in Charlestown, Lorraine became active in St Catherine's Catholic Church and the Charlestown Senior Center.

The surviving family includes her son Craig Adams and his wife Barbara of Charlestown NH; two daughters, Lynn Smith and her husband Philip of Zephyrhills FL and Nancy Coates and her husband Arthur of Snellville GA. She also has 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and her brother Lester Dumoulin. There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Elizabeth Adams who died on December 21, 2022 will be celebrated 10:30am May 13, 2023 at St Catherine of Siena Church on South Main Street in Charlestown NH with Reverend Father Steven M. Lepine officiating. Following the mass, internment will be at Hope Hill Cemetery in North Charlestown.
