It is with very heavy hearts and sadness; the family of Lorraine Cosseboom announce her passing on January 9, 2023.  Daughter of the late Ellen Lorraine and Omar Goyette.  Lorraine was a resident of Cornish Flat, NH and is survived by her brother Eugene Goyette, two sisters Andrea Squires and Linda Agostino, son Kenneth Yacono and wife Karen, Stepchildren: R. William Cosseboom and wife Cheryl, Elizabeth (Cosseboom) and husband Ralph Miller, Carolyn (Cosseboom) Harris and Delorie (Cosseboom) and husband Lee Belanger, Grandchildren: Lawson, Leighton and Lara Cosseboom, Kelsey and Tyler Harris, William and Audrey Belanger, Britney, Angela, Kaylee and Evan Yacono, DuJuan Gilbert Jr. and Gavin Patterson and Great Granddaughter, Waverly Kempton.  She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friends and extended family to include many nieces and nephews.  Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Ralph W. Cosseboom, son Michael D. Yacono and stepdaughter Jennifer L Patterson.

Lorraine graduated from Rockville High School and was a Certified Public Accountant, graduating from River Valley Community College in Claremont, NH.  She and her husband Ralph owned multiple insurance agencies and managed a variety of small businesses in Barkhamsted and New Hartford, CT.  Together they managed gas stations, real estate properties and a restaurant.  Lorraine was a kind and generous soul that could always be counted on when needed.  She spent time volunteering for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters of America organization.  She was a talented cook and phenomenal baker; you never left her home hungry. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time in the kitchen teaching her grandchildren how to cook and bake.  She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, re-finishing antiques, traveling and spending time with her family.

Visiting hours will be at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Saturday, morning February 18 ^th from 9AM to 10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be private in the spring in Cornish, NH.
