Lynn Margaret Moody, 84, of Claremont, NH, passed away on April 3, 2024, at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 10, 1939, in Hartford, CT, to Norman A and Priscilla (Clarke) Boyce.

Lynn grew up in Newport NH, graduating from Towle High School in 1957. She went on to do many wonderful things. She managed a local radio station (WCNL), was a counsellor for the Community Youth Advocates, she also directed the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Springfield VT for many years before finally obtaining her master's degree in social services in 1983. Lynn ended her working career doing what she was most passionate about. As a social worker for the State of VT, she took great pride in advocating for abused and neglected children, supporting families in crisis and educating parents.

She was very proud of the town in which she lived and was always active in her community. She loved camping, the ocean and anything that included spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Harold Moody, her brother, Norman Clarke Boyce and her parents Pricilla (Clarke) Boyce and Norman A Boyce.

She is survived by her son, Anthony J Mann of Claremont NH, her daughter, Elisha L Moody of Claremont NH and her grandchildren, Mckenzie Moody of Claremont NH and Carson Moody of Claremont NH and Paige (Moody) Flammia of Bellows Falls VT.

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 10th at 1PM at the West Claremont Burying Grounds in Old Church Road in Claremont, NH.
