Madeline Theresa (Plourde) Davis, 87, of Claremont, died at her home on Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022. She was born in Island Falls, Maine on June 26, 1935, to the late Treffle and Delia (Willette) Plourde. She was a graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont, NH.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Earle C. Davis of Claremont, whom she married on June 4, 1955.

They resided in Wallingford, CT for 38 years. After retirement from Pratt & Whitney in 1996 they moved back to Claremont where she resided for 26 years.

Her surviving family includes son, Brian Davis and wife Joanna, two daughters; Kim Haines and Maureen Roberts and husband Richard. Nine grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa, Justin and wife Tiffany, Robert and wife Tricia, Tawny, Kylie, Erin, Zachary, and Ian. Seven great-grandchildren, Chase, Bryce, Kayla, Skyler, McKenzie, Summer, and Sheena. She was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence Plourde and Herbert Plourde. She is survived by two sisters, Loretta White and Coleen Scruton along with her husband Fred Scruton of Claremont.

Several loving nieces and nephews who were always there to help, which her children will be forever grateful for.

She was a supporter for Autism and St. Jude.

Funeral services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, Wednesday December 21 ^st at 1 PM. Visiting hours will be held from 12 to 1 prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
