Margaret (Sal) Cressman, 92, of Leslie Avenue in Claremont, NH passed away on February 16, 2023 at Summercrest in Newport, NH.

She was born in Worcester, MA on January 14, 1931 the daughter of Lawrence and Irene (Coughlin) Costello.

She grew up in Brighton, MA, the oldest of five children and was educated in Boston schools.

Sal loved entertaining friends, baking, walking, bowling, playing cards and doing exercise classes at the Senior Center. She was always thankful for family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Larry and his wife, Kim and Don and his wife, Suzan; her sister, Sister Carole Costello and her brother, Lawrence Costello; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tilghman Cressman; her son, Paul Cressman and two brothers, Paul and Jim.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont on Friday, February 24 ^th from 1-2 PM. A funeral service will be at 2 PM with Father Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
